Great barrier reef

Thursday, March 6, 2025 – the pictures are so so, the experience was beyond words…

My walk up to breakfast before I left for the reef
The bird bath was busy while I was enjoying my breakfast. This Black Butcherbird was having the bath of its life.

YIKES!!! The monstress of the reef
The platform is that hulk on the distance… and yes, those blue fins are mine as I slipped under the rope to deeper and clearer water 🤪
I had gone beyond the ‘ropes’ where the other people hadn’t been, so the water was extremely clear and deeper with different corals and the fish were abundant. Then this guy had to spoil it all by chasing me back to the platform 🤪
