It’s a good day to start across the Drake Passage

There’s virtually no wind today, and while it was a colorful sunrise, it wasn’t red 😳 hoping that’s a good sign for a gentle crossing of “the Drake” on my way to Antarctica!!

Thanks for following my travels so far! I’ve been advised that wi-fi is slow and inconsistent on the ship–Ocean Diamond–but I’ll do my best to keep this going, even if it’s only text. I promise to post photos when I get back to Ushuaia, where I’ll be again from 16-18 March 😎 There will also be some new land adventures on those days as well!

My trip ends with three days in Buenos Aires, a short time to see and do a lot!!
